InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa comprises 351 keys, a health club, a spa, and two pools. Covering an area of 43,770 sqm, the resort is a short drive from famous archaeological sites such as Dhayah Fort and Sheba’s Palace. Set on a headland surrounded by protected coastal wetlands with lush landscaping fronting a sweeping beach on one side and a manmade waterway on the other, the guest rooms, suites, and chalets offer panoramic water views.

Your day to day
It’s important to remember the reason for completing each job- our guests! We are ‘in the know’ and love to proactively share our inside knowledge about our destination and culture- so our guests have a richer experience during their stay.

Working closely with and reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will respond to each guest reservation promptly in a polite and courteous manner, establishing client requirements and identifying how the hotel can facilitate their needs. You will also ensure that inquiries are managed to maximize Reservations, sales, occupancy, and revenue, including up-selling relevant hotel facilities wherever possible. The other critical part of your role will be taking ownership for creating an engaging guest experience from pre-stay through to post-stay communication. Our reservations team partners with our guests from inquiry through to departure – curating a personalized experience that will have them already planning their next stay.

What we need from you
Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel operations experience
  • Vast knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced in writing and speaking English
  • Knowledge in Opera  & IHG Concerto system is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Arabic language desired
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
